The Ukrainian Pysanka egg features a pretty, floral acid-etched pattern. Each egg is hand-painted and dyed with hot beeswax, made from a real chicken eggshell. I can customize the egg if you add a note to your order. To make the floral acid-etched pattern, I wash the Pysanka egg in an acid solution. I pick eggshells that are smooth and well-shaped to ensure they are of good quality. The strong eggshell can handle this process. After emptying the egg, I paint it with hot beeswax, dye it, and then finish it with a coat of varnish for a nice look.
