Pysanka with Cross Ukrainian Easter egg traditional pattern
by
USD 50.00 – USD 53.00
Pysanka is a Ukrainian egg, decorated with traditional folk designs using a wax-resist method. The word pysanka comes from the verb pysaty, “to write”, as the designs are not painted on, but written with beeswax. THE PROCESS: REAL Egg shell is carefully selected for the best shell shape and smoothness. I use electrical drill to empty the egg, and then I use air pump to blow yolk out. Strong shell will survive prep work. Than its hand painted with hot beeswax, dyed and varnished.
